Why am  I doing this?

My idea first stemmed from some of the families that I have known that do foster care.  I started to listen to some of the people that grew up in foster care and their experiences.  Many explained how they would go from house to house with very few possessions.  I wanted foster kids to go to homes where someone cared for them.  No matter how old they are, they deserved comfort and care.  

What Goes in the bags

Blankets, a small stuffed animal and hygiene products will be the main focus of what we put in the bags.

As time goes on, I plan to create a database.  This will include what our community's foster kids need and how you can help.  Things such as clothing, accessories, school supplies and personal care items will be tracked.
